Scholarship Information

Leduc Rotary Music Festival has various scholarships donated from individuals or organizations that we award.
As with our Medallions, the recipients will be selected from participants entering two provincially qualifying classes.   A mark of 85% must be achieved to be eligible.

Rochelle Goebel Memorial Scholarship
For the top Senior student in Senior Piano
Sponsored by the Goebel Family ($250)

Dr. Lloyd Thompson Founder’s Memorial Scholarship
For the top Senior performer in any discipline
Sponsored by the Thompson Family ($250)

Nisku/Leduc Rotary Scholarship
For the top Intermediate performer in any discipline
Sponsored by the Nisku/Leduc Rotary Club ($150)

Top Choral Group
For the top choral group as chosen by the adjudicator
 and performing at least two pieces .
Sponsored by Piatta Forma Singers ($500)

 
Thaddeus Lake Showmanship Awards
For the top piano performers with showmanship.
As chosen by the adjudicator.
Sponsored by the Thaddeus Lake Foundation
Jr ($100), Int ($150), Sr. ($200)

 

“The One” Leduc Radio Scholarships
To be split between the top five performers performing in two provincially qualifying classes and recommended by the adjudicator.  The winners must be enrolled or continuing in a post-secondary institution

Arlene Klonteig Memorial Scholarships
Musical Theatre -Vocal Solo 
For the top performer as chosen by the adjudicator for the category of Intermediate (13-16 years) ($100)
Only one class is needed for this scholarship in keeping with the provincial festival eligibility for musical theatre.

  Classical Music – Vocal Solo
 For the top performer as chosen by the adjudicator for the category of Intermediate (13-16 years) ($100)

Alberta Registered Music  Teachers Association Scholarship
Top junior performer in any discipline ($75)
 
Leduc Music Festival Musicamp Scholarship
